I'm all for new characters in the MCU, especially the beloved ones. Though I can't help but feel there's already enough characters in the MCU that haven't been fleshed out nearly enough. Adding even more just seems like going down the same path as before where things were becoming far too saturated.

I say just swap in a worthy character that we have atm for a character arc that fits some secret wars plot points. Sure it won't be super faithful, but why convolute things even more and add yet another origin of a character just to have to rush through it.

They did the Infinity Gauntlet without Adam Warlock or Silver Surfer. They'll be fine.

I'm of the same mind they should focus on the dozens of characters they've already introduced and have been neglecting to flesh out the way they did the OG Avengers...

Miles would be the only one I could see since he actually had a pretty cool part of Secret Wars and it would then bring him to 616 with Spider-man and you have your already in place replacement and or/partner for Tom Holland.

They don’t have to or need to introduce any of these characters to tell the story they want to tell…

MS & The Russo’s did their own version of Infinity Gauntlet and they’ll do the same for Secret Wars aswell.

I would rather characters like Kristoff and Lucia are saved for post SW where hopefully we’ll get a main MCU Doom instead of RDJ’s variant one.

Also Loki will definitely be the Molecule Man of the story since he is literally keeping the multiverse together right now which I like as a full circle thing if the first Avengers villain being crucial to the plans of the latest one.

thank god we have joshie-poo here to tell the studio how to do their work.

oh, and MOST of these characters are superfluous.
WHY does marvel NEED to introduce characters that aren't necessary to the story?
maybe ADD viewers (or critics) would need to have LOTS of shiny moving parts to keep their attention, but adults like a solid and coherent story and cast.

Add Tony Stark Iron Man to the list. OK it's a reintroduction.

If Jackman can come back as Logan, Downey can come back as Iron Man (or different actors less miscast in both those cases)... so precious about the events of Endgame, it's only pop culture FFS.
