Wolverine, Darth Vader and The Joker are the three characters in fiction who were better off with an unknown past.

@MaximusTheMad - I don't mind a Joker origin story. But I don't need a complete film of him.

Watched War Dogs a couple days ago. Convinced me this guy can make an awesome Joker movie.

@BeyondtheFuture - War Dogs was a pretty cool movie. Loved Jonah Hill in it.

@RageDriver - Yeah I loved the part at the end where he gave the sob story and then turned it around, revealing he was essentially a psychopath. That was quality acting. He wouldn't be a bad villain casting himself actually.

@BeyondtheFuture - out there in some alternate timeline Jonah Hill is playing the Penguin.

@RageDriver - It's also the universe that has talking humanlike rabbits. That interesting.

@BeyondtheFuture - I personally found War Dogs to be pretty mediocre and a poor man's Wolf of Wallstreet.

His resume isn't very good but there have been many directors that managed to deliver strong cbms despite their poor past filmography. I hope the same happens with him, however I have no expectations at all for this film.

For some reason, I don't think we're going to see "Joker" - maybe a few nods here and there but I doubt this will exist in a "Comic-book world". I wouldn't say I'm excited for this movie, but I'm very much intrigued.

@AbidNaga - I'm more intrigued by this flick more so than VENOM. With the cast and crew assembled and the tone described as being a 70s/80s Martin Scorsese-like character drama in a comic book world, I'm cautiously optimistic about how it'll turn out.

I hope "Barry" makes a cameo in the movie.

Off topic: Does anyone know how so much of the Spider-Man PS4 gameplay has found its way on to the internet? I found tons of videos on YouTube today.

Here's a couple of suits combat gameplay video (no story spoilers). The Iron-Spider suit abilities are wicked cool.

Off topic: I just saw A Star is Born. In the middle of a very disappointing year of cinema (outside of CBMs), what a breath of fresh air. I've never seen the previous iterations of this story (I think there's been at least 3), so I can't compare, but this was Million Dollar Baby level of great. That's the one movie I would compare it to. Not perfect, but incredibly close. Cooper is a killer director, and Gaga a revelation. That movie is gonna get some awards for sure. 9.5 out of 10.

@TheDoctor1225 - You need to listen to this new podcast I link to you below. It's a bit long, but it's incredibly informative regarding what happened with Lethal Weapon, who is to blame, and moreover how Fox and WB manage, or don't, their projects. It's 100% clear to me that Clayne Crawford isn't responsible for what happened to him, nor to the show. You can just tell by how clear and fast-paced his arguments are that he isn't making anything up. Give it a listen.
