The time between TDK and TDKR was 4 years now the reboot is only gonna take 2 years. This seems a bit soon but it's a SUPERMAN movie just with Batman.

So I suppose the time doesn't really matter in this case.

I actually would like to see Denzel Washington give the Luscious Fox role a try.

With Affleck being Bats this cast already has its fill of libtards.

Morgan Freeman has spoken.

The next Batmobile should basically mimic the lamborghini ankonian's design it has a very Batman feel to it.

Yeah, I agree all the way with Freeman. I think that Lucius should be a bit younger this go around. Same for Alfred like "The New 52" however Affleck will be 42 when the movie will probably start filming. I'd like to see an Alfred at least the same age as Gordon. This may be a total biased statement since we had such legendary elder actors in Nolan's trilogy but I always say "The younger the actor the more films you'll be able to make."

I wouldn't mind seeing Lucius's son work with Batman in regards to his modern tech and etc..

Thankfully his schedule will be full with production of Edison Force Part Duex.

Are you glad these new movies rea completely disregarding Nolan's ones?

Oh, [frick] yeah I am.

Or would you rather they were kept as canon but not brought up to any great degree?

Oh, [frick] no I don't. If so, why not also elude to the Batpole, Batshark repellant, and the Batboat.

Bring on BatFleck, and bon voyage to Lucious and BaleMan.

How about Judi Dench as M in Casino Royale, which was pretty much a reboot?
supermarioworldE
supermarioworldE - 8/27/2013, 8:05 AM
Well, WB got what they wanted. They pushed Batman into the MOS sequel and now he's the only thing everyone's talking about.

I'd honestly like Giancarlo Esposito as Lucius Fox
ABH1979
ABH1979 - 8/27/2013, 8:12 AM
@ezra - Yeah, I was going to mention Dench, who was M to Brosnan's and Craig's Bond.

There's also Michael Gough, who was Alfred to 3 different Batmen.

So it's not completely out of the question, though I do think it would be a good idea to not re-use Freeman (as awesome as he is).

Fox was only ever featured in Nolan's universe, anyways. There's a strong chance that Lucius may not even be part of the new solo movies...

Replacing Bale is hard enough, but good luck replacing Freeman, Oldman, Hathaway, Ledger, Hardy, Murphy and Caine in those roles... Its only been a few years since this series ended. Its not like the Ledger v Nicholosn which was a good 20 years for a new Joker

Just watched 'The Town' again and whoever says Ben can't act or has no range obviously doesn't know what they're talking about.
jerryblake
jerryblake - 8/27/2013, 8:34 AM
@highflyer

he can act. Changing Lanes, Extract, Hollywoodland. Funny you mentioned the Town, because (for me) that was his weakest role to date.

The movie kinda sucked too.

Morgan shouldn't be surprised just look at Spider-Man. Be glad it's not at least another origin story. But I'm glad they didn't bring the Nolanverse into these new movies.
Highflyer
Highflyer - 8/27/2013, 8:42 AM
@Jerryblake, I would've mentioned the movies you brought up but the reason why I brought The town was bcoz it just watched it again.
