At this point, I think it's better for the DCU to focus on 1-2 movies a year. Let the four movies next year be the swan song for the DCEU.

Just a thought, but if the rumours that The Flash movie was going to end with the DCU being rebooted (with Supergirl and Keaton Batman replacing Supes and Batfleck) are to be believed, maybe WB will rework that so it's more like Flash is trapped in their universe and a new Barry replaces him in the mainline DCU, as a way of replacing Ezra without having to reshoot huge chunks of the movie or whatever.

@AC1 - well with Cavill now retiring to the role I think it’s safe to assume that the Flash is probably having rewrites/shooting those scenes to include Clark otherwise, yeah this will make no sense other than it being a multiverse thing.

@Arthorious - I'm excited potentially for Lobo, but have zero interest in Smollett continuing Black Canary after watching the Harley Quinn film, and think all Wonder Woman movies are overrated. I liked the no man's land scene and her overall portrayal of the character, but Patty Jenkins in this franchise leaves so much to be desired. Maybe that will change under Gunn and Saffran, but those are the 2 glaring issues I have currently with the DCU.

@AC1 - I can see the Flash movie ending with some sort of moment that makes it clear that this is the end of the SnyderVerse era.
Maybe it is dialogue VO explaining how Flash returned to his universe, knows of other universes like the one with Super Girl and Keaton and TV Flash until we finally settle on a new Universe and a hint that this is the universe we will be watching
I kinda always wished DC would label movies - like at the start of Infinite Crisis - so audiences would know that The Batman for example was on Earth 12, while the SnyderVerse was Earth 55 sort of thing

Please let the blue beetle and static shock movies happen! And Lobo will be an instant win if they keep him like the in the comics.

@TheFireForce - I hope they embrace Lobo like the MCU has with Deadpool. I don't want him watered down, cuz I could potentially see some of his remarks being a problem, but I hope they figure it out because I think they can and it would be a missed opportunity if they can't. Skeezy fems is a hard sell though.

@TheFireForce - Maybe that will work for him, hope it does for all our sakes, but this just feels like the shuffling of coaches in sports.

Marvel is starting to dilute its product making so many movies and now Streaming shows every year. That’s what I was afraid of happening years ago.
DC should take the opposite approach and be minimalistic. Give us quality not quantity. Maybe two films per year staggering them over a three year period.
Example: A Batman and a Wonder Woman in 2025 then a Superman and a Green Lantern in 2026
2027 two different characters
2028 new Batman and Wonder Woman
2029 new Superman and Green Lantern
Etc
And they can swap movies and some will be done in two years others maybe four.just take their time and make us really anticipate the next movie,
In between those years they can have shows on HBOMax to balance it out and add to the stories connecting them all but don’t give us a new show every two months. Maybe two really well done shows a year that are connective.

I think that would work very well.

One more note: I love the block feature. Those who contribute to my conversations in an intelligent way and don’t just look to throw flames can participate. The rest can waste other people’s time.

Don't forget about Constantine...which I guess is a DC film. Also Steven Spielbergs film which I always forget the name...like black hawks or something like that.
