tomorrow they will say that SS was a standalone movie and didn't connect to the rest of the DCEU, will the jocker movie will be in the connected universe ??

@Equivocal - Joker movie is Elseworld aka Multiverse. How hard is that to understand?

@bangarangrufio - They haven't officially established a multiverse, let alone a proper Elseworld universe yet, within their films. So far, we've only seen somewhat of an alternate future. Hopefully JL and Flashpoint will remedy that and explore more of those concepts, or at least allude further toward those things.

However, don't expect the new standalone Joker movie, or any movie from the new label to exist within the multiverse, or even be in continuity within the preexisting, mainstream, and unified DCF/CU. They're part of a brand new label for a reason. It'll allow more creative input from the filmmakers who'd probably want to take much more liberties from the source and put their own spin on these characters and worlds.

So, in essence they could be considered as "Elseworld" stories, however they won't officially be tied to anything of that sort.
