Lex Luthor, Senior!
It's the best way to phase out Jesse Eisenberg and win back some fans. BvS already gave us a good set up. Luther Sr faked his death and went underground working for the Defense Dept to develop a deterrent against the Superman. Have Clark go all Pet Semetary on the world, and then bring out Bryan Cranston as the real Luthor to help Batman save the day.

@rabid -

"BvS already gave us a good set up"

You must have seen a different movie, because there was no set-up remotely hinting towards that. The time when he passed away was also a considerable amount of time prior to Clark becoming public knowledge.

"Clark go all Pet Semetary on the world"

This was the plot of Justice League and they got rid of it. They wont repeat plotlines.

@Scarilian - They didn't get rid of that plot. They saved it for when Darkseid gets near. It's just like the Brutaal storyline from the comics. And yes, BVS left a good opening for this by mentioning Luthor Sr's recent death. It happened after MoS but before BvS and no specifics were given.

God these articles need to stop. There will be no legion of doom. DCEU is all but toast. People need to deal with the reality of the situation.

The DCEU will keep moving forward. They will never make the mistake of spending 300 million dollars again on a film, but people want to see where the WB is going. I do not see a reboot anywhere in the future. But what do I know? WB is a shit show after all...

It didn't flop. Flop would be Incredible Hulk, Batman & Robin, Green Lantern, etc. This was just disappointing, but it still made at least half a billion and it's not even done, even sitting at the 145th highest grossing movie of all time...and has even made more money than such beloved movies as Empire Strikes Back, Ant-Man, Toy Story 2, Thor, Batman Begins, Captain America (which only made $370 million worldwide), Any studio would LOVE those numbers.

@GAThrawnIGF - I half agree because it also had a $300 million production budget... Definitely not a flop, but probably not a stretch to say that WB has ~$500 million invested in it.

With Eisenberg's Lex leading the team? No thanks. I don't want to see that ruined too.

I personally can’t wait to see the Legion of Doom, something that honestly we have never seen before in a superhero film. And I’d totally be fine with most of these members, just make sure they’re established first. I honestly don’t understand this sentiment that the DCEU is dead, far from it I think. Yes Justice League hasn’t done that great, but personally I think it was a step in the right direction. Better not so grim tone, more color, more humor, decent to good action, I really don’t think it should be getting as much hate as it is. If anything, all DC and WB needs to do is regroup, focus their efforts, and move forward, leaving the mistakes in the past and improving. Release Aquaman and Shazam, get on Flashpoint, Batman, Man of Steel 2, Wonder Woman 2, Cyborg, Green Lantern (Corp or otherwise), Suicide Squad 2, Justice Lauge Dark, etc., and eventually build up to Justice League 2. Then focus on what comes next, especially if that includes introducing more new heroes like Nightwing and Batgirl as reported, along with others like Supergirl, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Hawkman and Hawkgirl, Dr. Fate, Booster Gold, Red Tornado, Captain Atom, Question, and the like. I want this to succeed, and honestly I think they have the tools to do it if they just focus and keep pushing forward!

Replace Reverse Flash with Sinestro and add Lex.

@Facade - I think Lex is a no brainer after the post credit scene, him and Deathstroke, that’s why he was left off

WB/DC should just stay away from the Legion of Doom altogether.
