But if they're going to start from scratch in 2024

It will take a long time

Right now they haven't even started a movie to release in 2024 in were a few weeks away from 2023

James Gunn does superhero parodies. We have no indication he could make even one great DC movie. Faith in Gunn is as silly as Gunn's movies and TV.

The best and easiest soltuion is for the end of Flash to have Cavill wake up and it is the day after Man of Steel ended. Then do what should have been done 10 years ago, pair the Dark Knight Trilogy with Man of Steel. The universe would be four movies in instantly that would serve as the blueprint to a shared universe. Cast the RIGHT people in the RIGHT roles...

Jason Mamoa should not be Aquaman he should be Lobo
Wallis Day should not be the TV Batwoman she should be Black Canary
Jesse Eisenberg should not be Lex Luthor he should be the Jimmy Olsen
Mark Strong should not be Dr. Sivana he should be Lex Luthor
Jackie Earle Haley should not be Rorschach he should be Dr. Sivana
Robert Pattinson should not be Batman he should be Red Hood
Idris Elba should not be Bloodsport he should be Bronze Tiger.
Meagan Goode should not be Darla Dudley, she should be Vixen
Cara Delevingne should not be Enchantress she should be Cheetah

Then make the tone serious and grounded! EVERY SINGLE DC film made in this vein has succeeded - The Dark Knight films, Man of Steel, Joker and The Batman...are ALL batting 100% when measured by how much money the studio lost. Three of those 6 films are billion dollar films.

Follow these rules and DC WILL surpass Marvel. If they don't then Warner Brothers will be sold again and James Gunn goes down as another in a long line of people who failed to turn around DC films.

The actors will do just fine. None of them rely on DC movies as their bread and butter. It needs to be a business and artistic decision.

I take some comfort in knowing that Henry Cavill and the rest of the cast, with the exception of Ezra Miller, will continue to have successful careers while Josh will still be here writing opinion pieces that no one really cares about. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing other people take over the roles for quite a few of these characters but I think this site would be so much better without another year of Josh's nonsense.

And this was hands down my favorite toy


I’m still disappointed del toro’s justice league dark never came to fruition as swamp thing would’ve been a key player…they better do him Justice!

If you have Amazon Prime you can watch Swamp Thing on there, it's sort of based on the Alan Moore run, well elements of it are taken from that series.
