DEADPOOL 2 Hot Toys Action Figure Takes A Close Look At The Merc's Suit And Some Crazy Accessories

Hot Toys has unveiled its highly detailed new Deadpool 2 action figure featuring the Merc with the Mouth and a wide array of very cool - and completely crazy - accessories which you can check out here.

Deadpool 2 is hours away from being released in North America and Hot Toys has now shared the first official images of its upcoming 1/6th scale action figure. It's a very cool take on the Merc with the Mouth and comes bundled with a lot of unexpected accessories, including a unicorn and...high heels?!

The movie-accurate collectable figure is specially crafted based on the appearance of Deadpool from the film. It features a masked head sculpt with 5 pairs of eye pieces to create numerous combinations of Deadpool’s expressions, an iconic red and black Deadpool suit made with new materials and excellent tailoring, Deadpool’s weapons including a pair of metal swords, a dagger, and pistols.

It also comes with Wade'sfavorite mystical animal toy unicorn, a pair of interchangeable high heels, an X-Men Trainee jersey, a wearable neck device, variety of interchangeable hands available for different gestures, and a specially designed Deadpool 2 themed dynamic figure stand perfect for aerial poses!

Deadpool's love of unicorns wasn't really referenced in the sequel but the first movie made it clear that he has no problem getting up close and personal with them, something that's reiterated here.

Yes, Wade Wilson really is wearing heels here! We won't spoil why that is in this article but it's fair to say that this makes for a very unexpected look for the Merc with the Mouth...they're stylish, though.

While that's not quite an X-Men uniform, Deadpool is wearing a "Trainee" jersey and clearly embracing his newfound role within the superhero team. Just how long that lasts remains to be seen for now.

That strange looking device around Deadpool's neck is a power dampening collar, something fans of the comic books will be all too familiar with. It leaves Wade Wilson without his healing factor.

Deadpool assembles X-Force in his sequel and here we get to see the reluctant hero throwing up the team's sign with a patented thumbs up to boot. Which team member are you most excited to see?

Fox hasn't made a great deal of changes to Deadpool's costume for the sequel but there was no real need to as the character's look is pretty simple. Here's hoping he gets some new duds for X-Force.

Despite that, there's no denying how great Ryan Reynolds looks suited up as the character but the grey version of his costume will arguably look even better in live-action somewhere down the line.

This is an impressive looking action figure and while the price will no doubt reflect that, fans of the character will be more than willing to fork out for such a great version of the fan-favourite anti-hero.

This very cool action shot of Deadpool shows that the Merc with the Mouth won't hesitate to whip out his katanas in the sequel and it's just a shame recreating this image at home would be so...dangerous!

Due to the apparent tension between Marvel and Fox, we won't be seeing a whole lot of official movie merchandise for the sequel (the R-Rating also doesn't help) which surely makes this a must-have!

Wade Wilson is on the run here, presumably from those gangsters chasing him down in that trailer for the sequel featuring a scene which culminated in him violently smashing through that taxi's window.

There's that X-Men jersey again! Deadpool has teamed up with the team a number of times over the years but he's far better suited to the world of X-Force, hence why that spinoff is currently in the works.

Deadpool 2 has been met with a mostly positive response from critics and it's going to be very interesting seeing how fans respond to it over the next few days as it could potentially be divisive!

The sheer amount of details on this action figure is mind-blowing and it's easy to see why so many fans gravitate towards Hot Toys because it's hard to think of any others as greatly sculpted as this.

This figure comes with a wider array of accessories than perhaps any other Hot Toys action figure as it's bundled with a number of weapons and props which means you can customise it in a lot of ways.

I think Deadpool will go down as having one of the best comic to screen adaptations of a superhero costume of all-time.
