How many times have we heard Donner shovel her bullshit down our ears? How many times has her bullshit been proven to be just that, bullshit?

Every-[frick]ing-time.

Reynolds has mentioned he's pushing for a true-to-source film and maybe we'll get it but we all know how FOX railroads creativity in the people they hire (at least those who have it to begin with). So, I'd take it as ambitious intent on the actor's part to psyche himself up as well as fans about the project. I wouldn't be surprised in the least to find them [frick]ing everyone in the ass with this film, including Reynolds.

If by some outside, one-in-a-million chance Deadpool is a proper true-to-source comic adaptation - I'm gonna be pissed off.

Pissed that Deadpool, of all properties FOX has gotten their cum matted mitts on, is the one they decide to treat with the respect a fan heavy property deserves. While X-Men (more pointedly X3 in this case), Wolverine and to a lesser extent Fantastic Four who've been bigger icons in the comics community have been treated the way they have been.

I enjoyed Zombieland because I walked in knowing what to expect and what I wanted out of it. A "good time" movie. Sit down, have a laugh and watch zombies get killed. Nothing more, nothing less. But if they are using that movie to bolster approval of these dudes writing a comic adaptation, a proper one, then they are not doing favors to people who really want a good story only to have two dudes who wrote a tale that was more of an on-screen exercise to find ways to move on to the next zombie kill and keep a group together. Much like Michael Bay and his "'splosions".

It could very well be a movie that will focus on the jokes and violence more than developing a character, but we'll see I suppose. If they were going to do a comic adaptation of "Dead World", they'd be a good choice to start. However, I'm less inclined to give them a shot at making Deadpool successful and not turn it into MTV fluff. Because one dude is solely responsible for "Cruel Intentions 3" and the other some of the "The Joe Schmo Show". So really, not all that encouraging for writing a proper comic movie.

Anyway, at the end of the day after Donner stops making noise out of her face, we should all remember one thing:

It's FOX.

I think the writers of Zombieland would be great for Deadpool. It has all the makings of a huge hit; writers of a great zombie flick, comedy, only thing better is raising Bea Arthur from the dead as a zombie that Deadpool has to kill. I'm set to watch this movie!!!

nice thread. and you know what sucks? cable will never be in the films unless they say hes not cyclops son,because cyclops was supposedly killed in x-3. i think a x-3,and 4 should be made and cyclops should return and colossus,iceman,angel,chamber,angel salvador,gambit,nightcrawler,beast,emma frost,rogue,sabretoothe wolverine,magneto,beak,and the professor should have more story,and here is what should happen. alright its not to long after what happened in x-3 the government is so fing scared of mutants so they strike out against them and lock up the beast and release the sentinels to capture mutants. then the mutants are kinda forced together,find a way to bring back cyclops,and magneto helps the x-men.there are so many things they can do with the x-men to just stop at x-3 and not move on to x-4,and so forth.

The reason FOX marvel movies arent EVER going to do as well as the MARVEL STUDIOS version is because......................................................................ahem, sorry distracted by all the naked flesh. where was i?...oh yes. they will never do as well because FOX doesnt have access to the guys that create these characters to perfection in the first place. the writers. Iron Man had Quesada, Bendis, Millar etc etc etc sitting around a table with the screen writers disscussing it and fleshing it out. Whereas say most of the FOX movies are written by guys that have probably never read anything on the character let alone a comic before. And given that Deadpool is an EXTREMELY complicated guy I don't see him being done true justice. I'm a die hard DP fan, and it kills me to admit it. It'll take nothing short of Joe Kelly and Fabian Niceaza to be involved. Now back to the boobs.....
