Right at the homepage, as shown above, you'll notice just how organized everything is! Unlike Netflix, who's home interface is so cluttered and disorganized with clutter, Disney+'s home categories are organized by what you might genuinly like while also labling areas for specific categories for Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and even National Geographic so that you know what you're looking for. What's more, every time the service gets a new release they move them up to the front of the "New To Disney+" category so that you can find it easily! I'm really impressed with out easily everything is laid out so as not to go on forever.
Do you want to look for something specific or just want to find a certian category that's not on the front page? Then the search area's not only home to your standard search bar, but also something incredibly unique that most of the other streaming services I've used don't even have: the collections. These not only group specific series like Marvel Animation, Spider-Man, Toy Story and more into their own liitle also, but stuff like Disney Through the Decades also groups the various movies. shorts and shows Disney has produced since the beginning as a way to give old and younger audiences a chance to see what familar or obscure items the company has sought to include here. Many of the stuff from the 60s and 70s listings I've never heard of, so maybe some of these will get some kind of following thanks to this service!
Outside of the main site, I've been able to use Disney+ on my 4K Samsung smart TV, my PS4 and my iPod for when on the go. All of them are worth using, with their various perks. Watching on the Samsung app brings out the full 4K quality for when I have company over and I want to show it off. As for the mobile app, there's one feature on that I consider a huge improvement over Netflix. Like Netflix, you can download shows and movies to watch offline. However, not only is EVERY show and movie on the service eligable to download onto the app for offline viewing, but there are no limitations (aside from hard drive space) as to how many times you can download or re-download onto the app and you can keep your downloads on the app for as long as you want. This, to me, is a huge dealmaker and I'm really happy Disney didn't restrict thiss feature like Netflix has.
Overall, after 5 months of use, I can easily say Disney+ is 100% worth the $7 a month. There's plenty of content to go around with, of course, more on the way. If you haven't subscribed yet, please do so; you won't be dissapoined!
