Josh certainly has a hard on for trashing The Flash.

The chronobowl while jarring and terrible from a CGI standpoint got cheers at the screening that I was at.

This is going to be controversial but the Stan Lee cameo in Captain Marvel was pretty bad as well. As a tribute, I appreciate it but probably the worst of any of the cameos he’d done

Warrior has been cancelled again but the 3 seasons are moving to netflix

Hopefully they dont destroy the sets again and give netflix at least time to consider a renewal

I didn't mind Ms Chen.

Also Nic Cage's cameo in The Flash was the third best thing about that movie. Chris Reeve and Helen Slater's cameos was probably the fourth best thing.

I think Charles Dickens had the best take on it:

I think for me, Cage and Clooney were just so jarring that I couldn't help but have fun with them, the only cameos I was legit offended with was Reeve (after learning the toll the role of Superman took on him), Reeves, Slater, and Jay Garrick (how dare they sideline my boy).

Hot take: Jonathan Majors didn't "ham it up", he is a legit ham. Majors is an over actor in the vein of William Shatner.

Hot take 2: It's really time for Marvel to stop making films by committee. Some of the FWM complained that The Marvels failed because it was too "woke". The real problem was that it wasn't anything. It took no stance, had no compelling human drama and had zero character development. Instead of half implying a relationship with Valkyrie, actually present it, develop it and have it be a central part of the story and drama. Or don't and develop something else. Stop playing it so boringly safe.

In my book, the Council Of Kangs isn't just the worst cameo...it's not even the worst post credits scene...it's the worst flat out scene in MCU history.

PS: this is coming from someone who enjoyed the over the top takes on He Who Remains and Victor Timely.

MODOK being defined as a cameo in Quantumania is just fundamentally incorrect. He's unquestionably a supporting character in the movie with the biggest character arc in the movie as well. How can the character with the biggest arc be in anyway considered a cameo?
