The Patrick Stewart-led show is set to have a significant presence at San Diego Comic-Con later this month, but CBS All Access has decided to get a jump on the festivities by releasing a new poster for Star Trek: Picard.

Like the previously released teaser for the spinoff series, the new poster puts the spotlight on the iconic captain and the beautiful vineyard he spends most of his days on. However, the image does provide fans with their first look at Jean-Luc’s new four-legged companion.

While details on the highly anticipated series are being kept under wraps, we do know Sir Patrick Stewart will be joined by stars Alison Pill, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, and Harry Treadaway.

Star Trek: Picard doesn't have a release date, but it will be available to stream on CBS All Access in the U.S. and Amazon Prime in the U.K.

STAR TREK: PICARD features Sir Patrick Stewart reprising his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons on “Star Trek: The Next Generation.” The new series will follow this iconic character into the next chapter of his life.

CBS All Access doesn't give me faith, but I love Stewart. TNG is the only Trek show I've tried that I enjoyed, but I've only seen a handful of episodes.

If it's tied in with Discovery and the new stuff I have no interest. If it's TNG Picard and in that continuity then I'm actually very interested.

I'm not the biggest Discovery fan, but I do hope that this will be good. Picard doesn't deserve a bad show.

I didn't expect to be as interested in this as I am. If Stewart is given good, soulful material, it could be very affecting stuff.

(Despite what my name implies) I've never been the biggest Star Trek fan, and I've got basically zero nostalgia for the franchise. But when the series works, it works.

It's Patrick Stewart. That's all that matters ! I'm f'n stunned that so many haven't watched ST TNG and yet have watched Discovery. Y'all should go watch TOS, TNG and DS9 for some real Star Trek...Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek.

I just saw Jonathan Frakes and Brent Spiner at a convention, basically doing a two men comedy show during their panel. It was pretty entertaining.

I also learned about the annual Star Trek cruise being a thing, and... I'm still not quite sure what to think about it.

Part of me hopes that the entire series is about him running his vineyard and dealing with encroaching dementia.

Really though, while I'll likely never get CBS All Access, I hope that they lean into what Stewart was best at... They tried to hard to make him an old-man action star like Shatner. I get why with films they thought they had to do that, but with a series I'd rather see more classic TNG, with treaties and politics causing tense standoffs and thorny issues needing to be resolved rather than dune buggy gun fights.

Man, I'm torn on this. I love TNG, but hate the movies. I want OG Picard. The one who used his head, and followed the Prime Directive. The one who would rather uphold the values of Starfleet instead of break them to have a cool action scene.

Would love a set 100 years after TNG show
