I totally agree. Also, the casting of so many characters by Snyder was terrible. The crappy CW & Snyderverse DCFU are DEAD. Some just can't accept it.

I remain optimistic about the movie. The only thing I don't like is most of the costumes, but if it's a great movie, I won't care about that.

@DocSpock - Exactly. I remember that the snyderverse bandwagoning was at a time so strong that sites would ban you if you criticized Ezra Miller's abysmal casting as The Flash when it was announced. I called that shit on day one, and now, fast forward a decade later, and everyone shares my opinion on it.

Gunn is getting the colors and costume parts right on Superman and his casting has been 8/10 for everyone, which is much more accurate than the CW and snyderverse. I think any issues people have with costumes will be resolved upon the release of a trailer, but Gunn will above all get character and story right and make general audiences care about and like the characters through a genuine connection like he did with Groot and Rocket Raccoon, and that was missing from the snyderverse completely.

Superman pictured with 'ACTUAL' squirrel.

Bit of a leap IMO. to assume a real squirrel, behaving like a real squirrel, will be cgi'd into Ch'p.
Especially as there's no 'actual' dog for the Krypto scenes.

This constant “nice to see Superman save someone for a change” shtick is so overused in all of these articles. Yes, the Snyder stuff was darker, but all of Man of Steel was entirely based around him helping and saving others and BvS still had a few scenes of him helping but not often because the movie was about his conflict with Batman.
