"The danger with superheroes, is when they become icons..."

The premiere of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is just a few hours away, and while we're sure you were all planning to tune into Disney+ to check it out already, Marvel has released one more trailer just in case.

The 60-second promo is comprised almost entirely of new footage, as Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) join forces to combat the growing threat of the Flag Smashers in their "own way." There's also a new shot of a mask-less Zemo (Daniel Brühl), who makes the reason for his vendetta against all superheroes very clear.

The embargo for the first episode lifted earlier today, and you can check out reviews from myself, Josh and Rohan right here.

All eyes are on the shield, as Sam Wilson, aka The Falcon, and Bucky Barnes, aka The Winter Soldier, decide to team up—or rather, work together—when a new global threat launches them into an unexpected mission that may hit too close to home.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will see the titular heroes team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities...and their patience. Directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman serving as head writer, the series also stars Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker.

@PantherKing - Yeah, I thought that too. Sam listened to him closely in that PTSD group :)

I think after the experience that was WandaVision, I’m just gonna spend this weekend watching ZSJL and watch FATWS all at once. I feel like the ending of each WV episode was too abrupt and unsatisfying for me that it hindered my enjoyment.

That said, I’m really hyped for this show. It looks really, really good.

@SensitivityII - I have to agree. I think I'm going to wait the six weeks and watch them all at once to really take in the scope of the show along with the plot flowing consistently and not spaced out.

Hit that fullscreen button and that ratio gave me immediate JL PTSD flashbacks. I don't need to endure that ever again. We have widescreens for a reason.

OT: I'm nearing halfway through ZS JL, and umm......I'm really not enjoying it so far. The opening had my mouth open in disbelief at how bad it looks. That's just my take so far, but I was hoping with all of the positive reception that I would be a little more warm on it with some open mindedness, but nearly every scene is comical in how bad it is. I'm just curious if anyone feels as left out of the loop as I am.
