Khonshu being a dick and possibly preying on Marc due to how vulnerable he is via mental illness: comic accurate

@Waddles - It’s Bully SZN

@BlackBeltJones - Yup, his mind being so weak with his mental illness, Khonshu knows he can exploit that to the highest degree.

I just want to take this time to point out that Grace Randolph gave this show (after seeing the first 4 episodes) a rotten score, yet this same Grace Randolph gave Morbius a fresh score.

In case anyone was still deciding what they watch based on the opinions of youtubers posing as movie critics...here's a reason to stop that practice!

Harrow being revealed as Khonshu's previous avatar should have felt more impactful, but the rest of the episode was great. Loved the twist with Mr Knight being Steven's super-powered form, while Moon Knight was exclusively Marc's.

@DrReedRichards - they either should've held off on that reveal or I think Harrow should've divulged that information with more indignation.

You see him snap a bit. Khonshu used and abused him for years. Lied to him. With each word he grows angrier and tracks Marc's eyes to see where he sees Khonshu. He looks that way and as he says these words for Marc, they're for Khonshu too.

"Can you hear me, Marc? Did he save you? Then say a debt was owed, hmm. One righteous mission after another, always promising it's the last. Until you no longer ask questions. You just languidly bend to him like a damn fool. I wasn't his avatar Marc, I was his puppet. As are you. And those strings he has you on are rupturing. He is both petulant child and supreme being. That's a volatile mix, my friend. His brothers and sisters have grown tired. The gods are making their move Marc...Steven. It's time to make yours."

@BlackBeltJones -

Thank you! I mean, this kind of revelation felt like it should have been some heavy penultimate episode stuff, you know?

@DrReedRichards - completely agree. I get that Harrow's whole temperament is very balanced and zen. Everything is delivered in a smooth manner but that was big news.

Also, part of me thinks maybe he is lying idk. I figure he and Khonshu may come face to face too

I'm liking the contrasts between Marc and Steven. Steven runs basically armless like a goof while Marc runs like he's got purpose. Little things like that make it feel like they're two different characters.

Was kind of expecting the Mr Knight suit to appear later. There's a stitch going down the mask that made me think maybe at some point the original Moon Knight suit gets wrecked and the Mr Knight suit was Mark/Steven putting it back together. Makes sense the suit is a projection of what he thinks it would be, and Steven knowing nothing and everyone yelling "PUT ON THE SUIT!" to end up like that.

Also enjoyed the whole sequence of Steven taking off his jacket and rolling up his sleeves and then gesturing and flailing around like he learned to fight from an episode of Three Stooges.

@Reeds2Much - Isaac is having a lot of fun, that's for sure. (And showing off some pretty decent chops while he's at it.)

I think I read someone say reviews say that the mental health aspect of the show is pushed to the background after episode 1 but to me it was more so apparent in this one than last.

Like reeds said above me, you can definitely see the difference between Marc and Steven, especially in Steven's first mirror scene. Isaac is killing that aspect.

Khonshu is a dick. I hope we see the history between him and harrow

@MyCoolYoung - I dont get that sentiment after this ep but I guess we will have to see with ep 3 clearly being the Egypt Caper (which I'm hyped for lol)

I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but

My reaction when seeing Mr. Knight is going to be in this show:

My reaction when Mr. Knight is basically used as a joke.
