@WakandaTech - I've loved it but I do feel as though the CGI isn't up to their usual standard, nothing that's ruined any moments for me it's just been noticeable.

However, I'm hearing rumours of a crazy episode 4 and a batshit episode 5 and 6 so i'm wondering if they spent the majority of CGI talent and budget for those final episodes

@ShaggyRogers - Nothing specific but early reviewers that had access to the first 4 said ending of Episode 4 has some massive twist/crazy ending setting up the final two and then those who managed to see Episode 5 said it was even better than 4

@LongMayHeReign - one particular reviewer from this site will lose all credibility if episode 4 isn't the absolute worst thing ever to bring the overall show down

I saw so many people from those very first reviews saying that the show doesn't know what it wants to be because it switches tones. After watching episode 3 (no spoilers) I don't know what the [frick] they are talking about. The tone set in episode 1 has remained throughout episode 2 and 3. And then I heard Grace Randolph in particular say she didn't like how they treated Layla? Like what the [frick]? She's been great and they treat her character with respect as a capable female, what more do you want?

Some critics seemed less than impressed with the first 4 episodes, and after 3 episodes I really fail to see where the dislike might've come from. I really dig Moon Knight so far. Oscar Isaac's performance as the (as of yet) two main characters alone has the show compete for the top spot in my MCU show ranking.

@Kyos - I think it has to do with hype + binging all 4 at once for the first time. Digesting week to week might help this show for casual viewers, especially when you've heard not so great reviews prior to it.

Personally I've learned to enjoy the show for what it is after hating the first episode so much but I can see how people and reviews can be underwhelm with Moon Knight.

Kinda OT:

More fuel to the fire of this director being a massive hypocrite over criticizing dc for their portrayal of Egyptian culture. Apparently according to Simu Liu and several others online, the mandarin used by Arthur and that girl in episode 2 is basically gibberish. So from Mohammed Diab's logic, its OK to misrepresent Asian and Jewish cultures, but misrepresent Egyptian culture is absolutely terrible and worth calling out.

I'm starting to think the transitions in episode 1 we're Steven and Jake. Once we saw the knife come out of that guy and both Steven and Marc were baffled, I started looking back at episode 1. Thus far Spector and Steven can give each other control of the body with ease where as in episode 1 the control was taken from Steven and then it was taken away from Mark in episode 3 and neither main personality have any clue as to who took control.
