Marvel Studios has released the first clip from Moon Knight, and all that talk about the Disney+ series featuring a strong horror vibe was clearly no exaggeration. Poor Steven Grant finds himself pursued by Egyptian Moon God Khonshu in this sneak peek, and we should probably warn you now that, yes, there is a jump scare!

Today, critics will get their first look at episodes 1-4 of Moon Knight (you'll need to follow @Josh_Wilding for our reaction), and that could lead to some spoilers finding their way online. The review embargo doesn't lift until March 29, though, so it hopefully won't be too much of a problem.

The first wave of social media reactions to the show were excellent, though it does sound like Marvel Studios is keeping the final two episodes a closely guarded secret, so expect big surprises.

The series follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.

Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy. Mohamed Diab and the team of Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead directed the episodes (there's no mention of George Clooney). Jeremy Slater is the head writer, and Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Mohamed Diab, Jeremy Slater and Oscar Isaac are the executive producers.

Moon Knight premieres on Disney+ on March 30.

If @eGGtheGreat was actually born in 1987 like he says, that would make him either 34 or 35, depending on the month of his birth. I mean, Jesus f#ckin' Christ, I know these trolls are too arrogant and too obsessed to even lie properly, but failing basic subtraction? This is a new low.

The funniest thing about this whole "I limit how much money I give to Disney" nonsense you're spitting is that you probably have no idea how much indirect money you're actually giving to the Mouse. Merch, advertising, video games, etc. Mickey is getting your money someway somehow unless you go live in the woods somewhere.

The funny (or rather sad) thing is that the immediate attempt to rectify it was something along the lines of "guess I forgot my age, lol".

Quality save right there. Absolutely top notch. Chef's kiss.

@eGGtheGreat - I mean.....I can actually relate to this. Once I hit my 30's I stopped caring about how old I am. I basically have to stop and do math whenever I tell people my age. I'm 40 now, which took some time to remember lol.
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 3/17/2022, 4:46 PM
@DrReedRichards - I can actually relate with him lol. I'm 40, and the only reason it's easy to spit that out is because it was a big milestone. But as soon as I hit my 30's it was always hard to remember exactly what my age is when people asked. I had to do math to remember lol.

It happens man.
eGGtheGreat
eGGtheGreat - 3/17/2022, 4:47 PM

DrReedRichards - 3/17/2022, 5:22 PM
@CorndogBurglar -

I'm 30, and I've had my age questioned several times in forums like this one where we're all anonymous. So believe me, I get being indifferent to one's own age, which everyone past their 21 more or less tends to be. But when called to state it for the sake of an argument, this is no mere typo. This is more akin to sloppy fan-fiction, reinforced by the fact that he was the one who initiated the whole age argument in the first place; as children tend to do.
