Moon Knight is being billed as a "limited series," which suggests we won't see a second season. Common sense says this character does have a future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but what it looks like remains to be seen. However, this new TV spot features a lot of different shots of the hero leaping through a city, possibly hinting that he is ultimately going to become the vigilante we know from recent comics.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Oscar Isaac was asked if he had any concerns about signing up to star in another big franchise after spending so much time working on Star Wars.

"I had so much hesitation. So much," he laughed. "It was exactly that. I was like, 'I just finally got out of a long time of being a part of the Star Wars universe,' which I loved doing, but it definitely took up a lot of my time. So I was excited to get back to more character studies and smaller films."

"But this came my way, and my instinct at first was like, 'This is probably not the right thing to do.' There was something about the Steven character that was speaking to me a little bit. Ultimately, for me, it’s about if there’s space to create something. The size of it doesn’t really matter. Is there space to really delve into a person, a psyche, and to tell a story from the point of view of that person?"

The series follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.

Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy. Mohamed Diab and the team of Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead directed the episodes (those George Clooney rumours were incorrect). Jeremy Slater is the head writer, and Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Mohamed Diab, Jeremy Slater and Oscar Isaac are the executive producers.

Moon Knight premieres on Disney+ on March 30.

He was fantastic as Apocalypse. He'll most likely do this character well as well.

@eGGtheGreat

Great performer but he never should’ve been Apocolypse imo. Doesn’t have the commanding voice that someone like Poc would need.

@regularmovieguy - Micheal Clark Duncan would have been prefect.

@regularmovieguy - I don't know. That movie was the only time I've actually enjoyed the character of Apocalypse

@eGGtheGreat

No I’m glad you liked his portrayal. He’s just not the image of what I think Apocalypse should be.

I also didn’t love the design and that’s completely out of his hands.

How does anything in this spot tease the vigilantes MCU future?

It's basically the same spot as we've all seen...

Already looks more like Batman than ANYTHING the WB has ever done. Except for the animated series of course.

@John75 - Exactly...
Enough with the down to earth nonsense for Batman already... He's a man whose mystique, skills etc make him appear almost supernatural...

Another stupid post from JoshWilding. Title says one thing and the "article" and movie clips tell us something different. Complete hack job. Nice work JW!
