Marvel Studios has shared another weird poster for Moon Knight, but if you've watched today's episode, you'll know this has quite a bit of significance to how the story is playing out. Read on for details!

Disney+ has made a habit of releasing regular posters for its TV shows, leaving fans to look forward to finding out which heroes and villains from the likes of Loki and The Mandalorian will be spotlighted each week. That hasn't been the case with Moon Knight, unfortunately, as Marvel Studios has instead decided to share more obscure "character" posters highlighting various props.

If you haven't watched today's episode yet, this one is likely to be a mystery to you, so we won't get into spoilers here. It is significant, though, and we're sure that Scarab will be familiar!

"The Friendly Type" felt very much like a middle chapter in the six-part limited series, but you might have noticed that it ended with a message reading, "In Memory Of Gaspard Ulliel." The actor played Anton Mogart in Moon Knight, but passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 37. Ulliel suffered a serious brain injury during a skiing accident in France and tragically died shortly after.

We'll have more details on today's Moon Knight episode for you in our recap a little later today, as there was definitely a lot to unpack, especially now that the show has reached its halfway point.

A decent episode in terms of scope and story, but I'm starting to dislike the amount of CGI that goes into the MCU's suits. You could really see the rough edges on the costume's hood and cape during the fight scenes. Otherwise it was pretty good.

I got a thought though... Hear me out.

Anyone else think Moon Knight can be a back door into whatever we get from the MCU in regards to mutants and the X-Men with the Egyptian and Apocalypse links?

That would be a full circle moment for Oscar Isaacs, or maybe too on the nose?

I enjoyed this one a lot more than the first two. The Steven Grant personality is, at it's best, very irritating, and there was almost none of that here.

@JDL - glad to know Steven is annoying

@JDL - Oscar Isaac is a great actor but I HATE this goofy Steven Grant with a passion. I also hate that now most people think he's the main character to root for and basically the reason they "like" Moon Knight now. I dread to see the comics take influence from the MCU on that front.

@dragon316 - If that was the goal they succeeded in Spades.

The first ep where I was mostly bored. The circus lookin place just had regular goons. No strong man? Contortionists? Nothing Batman Returnsish at all. Yeah I know that’s gimmicky but they’re the ones that has a circus looking place not me. They’re having fun with the suit but the badguys need to not be Flag Smasher level boring. Kevin Nash as the Russian on punisher. Or the guitar guy. Or the giant on John wick part I forget. Or here’s one, more of those Bojack monsters, maybe a gator headed one
