Moon Knight is just 10 days away, and a new TV spot for the Marvel Studios series features some intriguing shots of the superhero leaping into action...and taking quite the beating!

Clearly, Marc Spector can absorb a lot of punishment in battle, and he'll need all the help he can get from Khonshu based on what we see from Arthur Harrow here. That villain is incredibly mysterious, but looks to be unleashing a lot of power in his apparent quest to take over the world (a villain's usual endgame, though we do wonder if Harrow has something more specific up his sleeve).

The TV spot also delves deeper into Steven Grant's dynamic with Marc Spector; it looks like the two disparate personalities will communicate with each other, which is definitely a unique take.

The series follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.

Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy. Mohamed Diab and the team of Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead directed the episodes (there's no mention of George Clooney). Jeremy Slater is the head writer, and Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Mohamed Diab, Jeremy Slater and Oscar Isaac are the executive producers.

Moon Knight premieres on Disney+ on March 30.

Yeeaaaaaa we're definitely gonna need to see white eyes in a Batman movie in this lifetime. It's too cool and too many other adaptations are pulling it off

The way these action scenes are being shot really feels like Marvel turned another corner in the action department. The Russos really eschewed in a style of 'comic booky realism' which was really great for their movies, but there's a certain type of flash and flare that gets unlocked when you push the needle just right in the opposite direction which I've felt like they've done here in Moon Knight

@McMurdo - lol what? Marvel delivers solid action way more often than dc. How many dc movies in the past 30 years have had good action?

Have not watched Fresh but I’ve been tempted to. Not sure if it was one of those lighter, dark comedies like You or not.

I’ll check it out if you liked it.

On top of it, king. I’ll turn that on tonight.

Watched Dark Water with Affleck and Ana De Armas. That was…something. I actually like Adrien Lyne’s movies but this was a mess.

@regularmovieguy - it was highly disturbing but awesome…all performances across the board and not following normal tropes made it work in the best and worst ways. Highly recommend to watch and also to avoid

Love to hear it. Think I’m going to turn it on tomorrow, pretty exhausted but I appreciate the recommendation.

Haven’t seen any trailers for it so I’m going in blind.

I've learnt to be cautiously optimistic about Marvel's Disney+ shows. It does look promising though.

OT, anyone know of any news/update regarding the MGS that's been in development for ages? I know Isaacs basically cast himself in it, but not heard anything since.

@dragon316 - Just cause you didn't like it doesn't make it bad. Then again nobody likes every way of doing things, but that's not the same as bad.
