“Surprising”....

I was wondering why there was no mention of Isaac during the presentation, so that would explain it.

@MosquitoFarmer - How is he gonna do Metal Gear Solid and Moon Knight, though?
MosquitoFarmer
MosquitoFarmer - 12/20/2020, 9:16 AM
@Battabing - I don't know when Metal Gear Solid is supposed to release, but the production schedules for actors can be pretty crazy. Cause by the time of any release they have put that project well behind them and are often working on other projects. And for a show like Moon Knight, his scenes would be prioritized for a set period, and then they can work on completing the other aspects and character scenes of the show. His involvement could be only a few short months of filming. Though he might also end up doing prep training (physically) for both at the same time.

@MosquitoFarmer - because he is not confirmed. I kind of hope they get someone more prepared for action scenes

@Hulkh8liars - I know he's not confirmed; why do you think I wrote my comment?

@Hulkh8liars - i honestly hope they find a different actor
he is horribly miscast

I like Oscar Isaac, but the man stays busy. It wouldn't surprise me nor would I be entirely disappointed if he didn't sign that dotted line and they went another direction.

I feel like people should lower their expectations with Oscar Isaac still. He's not 100% confirmed.

Tati Maslany was straight up said to have been cast when reports came out about her, compared to reports of Isaac just saying he was in the talks stage.

A small part of me is still hoping for Oscar Isaac to be cast as Mr. Fantastic 😅

The only thing I’m surprised about is that She-Hulk will be 30 min episodes rather than an hour
parkerray

30m doesn't really let new characters breathe.
Spidey91
Spidey91 - 12/20/2020, 9:35 AM
@parkerray - what? if it has 6 or 8 episodes that's 3 to 4 hours of content, it's like a really long movie or two standard ones, that's plenty. the Netflix Marvel shows went on for an hour each and that was too much in several cases.
Timerider84
Timerider84 - 12/20/2020, 9:48 AM
@Spidey91 - I think 40-45 minutes is plenty and not too short. Hopefully, there's at least 8-10 episodes

Feige dropped the bombshell that it's going to be a "half-hour legal comedy"

That isn't a bombshell, that's just according to keikaku.

i was a fan of night court when i was a kid, so im interested to see what they do with she hulk :D

@lemric - Loved that show too. They could never get away with half of it today.

Hopefully this leans more towards Franklin & Bash than Night Court though.

@lemric - It’s getting a revival/continuation. Laroquette is back as Dan and Judge Harry’s daughter is the new Night Court bail judge.

Half hour legal comedy is a genre Marvel has never done before? That’s pretty dang specific genre. This is a pretty big year for the legacy of Night Court.
