THE WITCHER: Henry Cavill Gets Ready For Battle In Awesome New Photos From His Upcoming Netflix Series

Netflix has released eight intriguing new hi-res photos from their upcoming The Witcher series, which stars former Man of Steel and Mission: Impossible - Fallout star Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia.

Even though The Witcher has been confirmed to debut before the end of the calendar year, Netflix has yet-to-announce a premiere date, but fortunately, the streaming giant has gone ahead and shared new photos from the upcoming eight-episode first season, which, based on their marketing history, likely means a new trailer - with an official date announcement - is probably just around the corner.

The new photos feature a few cool action shots of Henry Cavill (Mission: Impossible - Fallout) as Geralt of Rivia as well as new looks at Ciri (Freya Allan), Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) and Roach.

Based on the best-selling fantasy series, The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family. Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. @WakandanQueen - Apparently, within the remainder of the year. And, yeah, there was what seemed like an oversight by whoever runs the Netflix Twitter account because they put out a tweet which had a list like "How many days left until X" and The Witcher was one of them. So, probably December unless it's been delayed behind-the-scenes.

I’m not going to have any time in the day to watch everything that’s coming out .. I guess in a way, it’s a good thing Disney won’t be pushing entire seasons .. even though I prefer the binge model..

Just can’t get past his obvious wig. I feel like it could look less like a wig. Maybe because he is so ingrained with his dark hair it’s just impossible to not realize this is obvious a wig. Hope show delivers though! ❤️

Finally got around to playing Witcher 3. Good game. Made me more interested in the series so I'll be checking this out whenever it's premieres.

Ciri's actress is so old for her role in the first 2 books, she's supposed to be a child. The series is looking really good!

PS. I wish Amazon would put the books in the Kindle store, I need to finish them.
